Master of Divinity Degree. Took a break
from ministry for nine years to raise my family. From 1999-2008 we had three children, Tre,
Abigail and Rachael. Let us not forget
one dog, Embers and one cat, Sandy, who goes by the name, “Kitten.” Currently serving the McKeesport Shared
Ministry part time since October 2017.
My call to ministry occurred in college when I had to choose
a major. I realized as much as I loved
teaching God had been tugging at my heart for a few years to answer a calling
to a different vocation. So, I switched
my major to Christian Ministries and now here I am in the United Methodist Church,
working my way toward being all God wants me to be just like everyone else.
My approach to ministry is pragmatic. I use a bit of story and humor now and again. I love to teach and bring scripture alive in
creative and relatable ways so that persons know and respond to how much God
loves them right now.
